Sepsis means the presence of bacteria in the blood along with clinical symptoms. Despite recent advances in the achievement of antimicrobial agents and care for patients with sepsis, mortality and morbidity are important causes. The common causes of bacteremia and antibiotic susceptibility are risk factors in each region. In this study, patients with positive blood cultures were studied in Shahid Rahimi and Shahid Madani hospitals in Khorramabad, Iran.
